Chuck Schumer has resuscitated Trump like Kevin McCarthy did on January 28, 2021, after the coup that may well yet destroy freedom in America.

This is how the Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the word “feckless:”

  1. weak, ineffective
  1. worthless, irresponsible

Chuck Schumer is utterly feckless, and so are his colleagues that tolerate his weakness, arrogance and foolishness.

Senator Mark Kelly is a US Navy captain, an American astronaut and a good man, but watch him descend into blather and incoherence defending the indefensible during an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Jansing. She asked if he supports Chuck Schumer leading the Senate Democrats going forward. Here is his response:

So Chris, again. We found ourselves in a situation I don’t think the Senate has found itself in before. I think under any president, Democrat or Republican, they’re gonna care about the American people’s health care, and care if they’re gonna be able to put food on the table, and try to bring down costs, not do the opposite. So when I hear folks say things like that, I understand their frustration. But I also hope they understand that we all need to be on the same team here. And what matters at this point is restoring these tax credits—if we can do it—in December. And we’re gonna work really really hard, and we’re gonna focus on getting the Republican votes necessary to do that.

Jansing:

I will note, senator, that given two opportunities you did not voice your unequivocal support for Chuck Schumer, but his job at least for the moment is not over.

Kelly:

Chris, I will say: Chuck Schumer and the leadership of the Senate are dealing with an incredibly complex situation where … it’s hard to find a way out, but I am gonna continue to fight for my constituents and the American people to just make life affordable for them.

Jansing:

Well that’s exactly what people are calling on the Democrats to do.

This is the cost of Schumerism, and it will destroy the Democratic Party, and obliterate the anti-Trump coalition.

Donald Trump and his poisonous coalition of fascists have unsheathed a blade and pressed it against the throat of every American who dares dissent.

This is America in 2025:

The most notorious child rapist in federal detention—the indispensable partner to the most notorious pedophile of the 21st century—has been granted extraordinary privileges in prison by the attorney general of the United States, a corrupt warden and a sick president, who has made $3 billion in crypto cash during his first 10 months in office.

Trump has pardoned hundreds of violent criminals, engaged in acts of corruption that beggar the imagination, and has destroyed the White House during his first 10 months in office. He has assaulted Canada, NATO, decency, integrity and the national honor with his boundless treachery and insanity, while all of his sycophants clap and clap and clap.

Malicious prosecutions, government surveillance, violence and lawlessness have become the order of the day in Trump’s America, where malice is currency and insanity is government policy.

The American economy is collapsing while the rapaciousness of America’s gilded class continues to heat up. Elon Musk and his trillion dollar pay package is a moral abomination and an obscenity that beggars both belief and description.

Free market capitalism has collapsed in America under the weight of greed, corruption and market manipulations that have created a new type of feudalism. The king distributing the people’s money to his lords at whim or under the US tax code is not capitalism.

Elon Musk has received more than $38 billion in government subsidies en route to his trillion. Meanwhile, we live in a country with more than 14 million hungry children, the highest infant mortality rate in the developed world, and a rotting educational infrastructure for our kids who cannot buy a home, start a family or build wealth. Why? Because a small taker class has devoured the American dream and smashed it to pieces, while blaming the abused and calling themselves ‘patriots.’

How did this all happen?

America has two major political parties. MAGA consumed the rotten Republican Party before it smashed the corrupted Democratic Party of Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer and the Vichy Democrats.

Think about the magnitude of the electoral loss and the misery it has unleashed on the American people.

Think about the reality that Donald Trump was elected president because the American people came to believe that the most prolific liar in American history was the more honest candidate in the 2024 race when it came to Biden’s fitness, the border and the economy.

Losing to Donald Trump was the greatest political failure by a political party in American history. The response to the loss by the leaders of the Democratic Party has been to keep Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin as their leaders, and what it has produced is a national disaster.

The American republic is collapsing.

It is under siege by a malevolence that is turning darker and deadlier by the day.

This is the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Twenty-four days ago, seven million Americans marched in 2,700 locations across 50 states, territories and dozens of foreign nations.

Twenty-three days ago, in response to the No Kings rallies, Donald Trump released a propaganda video defecating on the American people, including a young man named Harry Sisson.

Nineteen days ago, Donald Trump demolished the White House.

Seven days ago, the American people repudiated MAGA in elections everywhere there was voting.

Two days ago, 60,000 Americans humiliated Donald Trump at an NFL game demonstrating the Oz-like wizardry of the corporate media, which keeps the American Nero insulated from the reality of his deep unpopularity. How? With curated coverage baked in a stew of appeasement and capitulant nonsense that has turned the news into MAGA propaganda and Trump interviews into masturbatory ego massages for the American republic’s most delicate flower.

Then, eight Democratic senators—at Trump’s lowest moment and weakest political condition in three years—bailed him out.

Worse, the bailout was engineered by Chuck Schumer, who pretended he was against it, while orchestrating the outcome, which was another surrender to Trump.

Of course, pointing this out is deeply upsetting for the many lemmings of the Democratic Party who have no problem voting against Trump. They can’t seem to understand that they are about to be fed to him by the pathetic leadership of their own party, which has sold them out and sent them down the river time after time after time.

Now, Trump has claimed another victory at the price of all of our scalps.

Chuck Schumer has given Trump a green light to do as he pleases for the next 356 days until the midterm election.

What is the point of winning an election if it delivers Chuck Schumer as majority leader?

What is the point of an empty victory?

What is the point in giving power to a weakling and an appeaser who won’t fight?

Chuck Schumer will not fight for American liberty or the American people.

He is a career politician who lives a cloistered life between his Brooklyn apartment, the Acela and his Capitol hideaway.

He is out of touch, politically incompetent, and a danger to the survival of the American republic.

Donald Trump is no colossus, but he has been able to play one on television because lining up against him are a bevy of clowns who can’t see the fire raging around them.

Chuck Schumer has failed to meet the moment.

The only thing more pathetic than Chuck Schumer are his 45 colleagues who indulge his weakness, incompetence and arrogance.

How dare they?

The American people deserve so much better.
