A member of Trump’s “all the best people” squad, Jason Miller, was ordered to pay $42,000 in legal fees in response to his attempt to sue Gizmodo’s Splinter News for defamation. Oops.
Splinter ran a piece in 2018 stating that Miller, among other actions, secreted an abortion pill into the smoothie of a woman whom he had gotten pregnant.
In a series of Tweets, Miller vehemently denied the allegations and the left CNN to defend his reputation. His case was tossed in 2019 and now he’s been ordered to pay up for wasting everyone’s time.
As Roger Sollenberger posted on Twitter, it ain’t defamation if its true.
A US District Judge has ordered Trump flack Jason Miller to pay Gizmodo nearly $42,000 to cover legal expenses from his failed $100 million defamation suit.
