Georgia GOP Rep Andrew Clyde was photographed manning a barricade against what he now says was a "normal tourist visit" of rioters trying to prevent the certification of the 2020 election results.

From the “You Can’t Make this Stuff Up” department, Georgia GOP Representative Andrew Clyde went on record gaslighting the violent attempt to prevent the final certification of the 2020 election as a “normal tourist visit.”

What he did not bargain on was that photographer Tom Williams captured the shot above showing Clyde in the middle of the scrum barricading the doors to the house chamber with furniture to prevent the “tourists” from entering.

And yes, Clyde is the guy with no face mask.

Here is Tom Williams’ posting of his photo in response to Clyde’s effort to downplay the violence of that day.

Here is another tweet with a few other images of the “tourists” from that day, just to lend a bit more perspective.

It is way past the time for Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to be invoked. Downplaying this event is tantamount to endorsing it. And frankly, that is treasonous.
