None of Us Should Stop Laughing at the Fool in the White House

There is nothing left for Donald Trump to show us. There is nothing left for him and his ship of fools to reveal. They have announced themselves fully and completely.

Donald Trump is nearing his apogee. It is terrifying to witness.

No rational person in these United States could conceivably watch Donald Trump standing before the United Nations, conceived by Franklin Roosevelt, and not feel the deepest shame and humiliation.

Everything crude and ugly in America was perfectly represented by the rotten First Couple—a menacing buffoon and a plastic Slovenian, who debase the nation with each breath, each word, each step. They are as appalling as they are corrupt and skeevy.

They are shameful, dishonest, corrupt and incompetent.

Selfish and indifferent, they are the literal definition of the ugly American.

The word “apogee” means “the highest point in the development of something; a climax or culmination.”

Donald Trump has put his chips on the table.

He has climbed to his intended altitude. He is ready to exercise powers to proclaim himself something that it is not possible to be in America.

Here is how Governor Gavin Newsom expressed the issue:

I fear that we will not have an election in 2028. I really mean that in the core of my soul—unless we wake up to the code red, what’s happening in this country, and we wake up soberly to how serious this moment is.

Donald Trump has yet to be asked any questions about how he intends to work with a Democratic majority in the US House after 2026.

What might he say? Shouldn’t we know?

Donald Trump’s approval numbers are below 40 per cent, and the economy is worsening for everyone except tech executives and hedge fund managers.

There is a US military build-up in the southern Caribbean, and every member of the Trump regime is feeling flush with power, money and absolute immunity.

Here is Tom Homan talking about his $50,000 bag full of cash:

He seems penitent.

For a while, Donald and his gang will skim along at this elevation, and then the descent will begin.

MAGA will not endure.

Donald Trump’s lieutenants will die in disgrace and penury.

I am so deeply grateful to be able to live in the era where I get to speak out against these wrongs, and participate in a fight that will be remembered for all the rest of American history.

The choice is the same for all of us.

Last night, Jimmy Kimmel said something of immense importance:

This show is not important. What is important is that we get to live in a country that allows us to have a show like this.

This is an idea worth defending, and if necessary for which we die.

The freedom of speech is not debatable in America.

It is the foundation of all freedoms. There can be none without it. Every single American patriot should roar in defiance against the arrogance of officious fools who are deluded enough to believe that they are kings, and we are their subjects.

No.

They will not tell us what to think, believe, or what we can say, or not.

Never.

This is what the Jimmy Kimmel story is about.

It is about government thuggery and the abuse of power by liars in service of a thug who has broken his oath and duty to the US Constitution.

Brendan Carr is the chairman of the FCC, which is a modest position and a necessary one. His abuse of his power and office is not surprising. He lacks character, judgement and integrity. In other words, he is human, and in this case, the worst of the worst have been able to fly very high in the Trump era because hollow men are useful to tyrants. Brendan Carr is an extremist and a crank with a bit of power who proves the wisdom of Lord Acton’s observation that “absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

It does.

It always has, and it always will.

Donald Trump’s ballroom will never be built.

His library will be a center for the study of autocracy in America within 10 years’ time of its opening. Top lieutenants will live for decades in ruin and disgrace as they face the near unanimous revulsion of the American people.

They will be hated most by the MAGA supporters whom they betrayed and ruined, the parents of the kids who died of diseases cured 50 years ago, and in the unnecessary deaths to come.

There is nothing left for Donald Trump to show us. There is nothing left for him and his ship of fools to reveal.

They have announced themselves fully and completely.

Who is Donald Trump?

He is the type of fascist and egotist who is easily duped. He is the type that can be taken in big circle loops around Windsor Castle where he can be hidden from reality, and told the circle route was because he is so special.

Donald Trump can’t stop the laughter.

It is growing with the miseries that he has inflicted, and until he is gone, the laughter will grow along with the tears.

The American people will not stop laughing at the fool in the White House, and a great many of us will never get on our knees for him.

Ever.
