Earlier this week a couple of Neo-Nazis were arrested in Maryland for plotting to take down the power grid of Baltimore. As reported by the Washington Post:
A neo-Nazi leader recently released from prison is accused of plotting an attack on the Maryland power grid with a woman he met while incarcerated.
The charges against Brandon Russell, 27, and Sarah Clendaniel, 34, come amid a spate of sabotage targeting power stations across the country. Gunfire at two North Carolina substations in December left 45,000 people without power for several days. Most of the cases remain unsolved, but authorities and experts say they follow increased interest among white supremacists in targeting electric infrastructure.
Also, according as reported by TIME Magazine,
Attacks and suspicious activity at U.S. power stations reached a decade-long high last year, with more than 100 reported incidents in the first eight months of 2022, according to a TIME review of the Department of Energy’s most recent data, which runs through August. Since then, there have been at least 18 more publicly reported attacks or potential attacks on substations and power plants in Florida, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, and Washington.
These folks may be taking a cue from the failed mission the Nazis staged in 1942. German intelligence landed two groups of saboteurs by submarine in Massachusetts and Florida. Their mission was to attack power stations and other infrastructure, but they failed to attack even one target. Two weeks later they were all in prison and the majority were later executed. The fact that the mission was a dismal failure must have been lost in our current crop of neo-Nazis and their extensive “study” of history.
Firing pot shots at power stations is not the only item being served up by the far right. Alex Jones yelled what is usually the quiet part way out loud, calling for outright murder of Black people.
Alex Jones is getting back to basics. The host claims "a gang of racist, foaming at the mouth black people [is] com[ing] to rape, rob, or kill" his viewers. His advice? "Kill every person you need to…". See you in court. #VoteBIGblue #DemVoice1 #wtpBLUEhttps://t.co/qdYeljmgGl

These two items aren’t exactly new, calling for a race war and screwing up the infrastructure has been part and parcel with far-right extremism.
According to Ronnie Jackson (R-TX) we are under attack as a country and being slaughtered.
Americans are being SLAUGHTERED because of crime spilling across our border. Biden has given the cartels FULL CONTROL, and now American families are paying the price. We need to return to the TRUMP border policies!!

The funny thing is, life even here in Florida, is a calm deal—unless you’re driving and need to be hyper-aware of the insane, apparently suicidal traffic maneuvers here.
What’s Really Happening?
The far-right is in dire fear of everything. This isn’t really a stretch to see. One can get the idea that these guys only hate and fear people who are not like them, like Black people, Asians, Latin Americans, Native Americans, LBGTQ+ and lizard people, of course. But, if you sit back and quietly watch, you’ll see them attack each other with the same vehemence.
The Nazi regime in Germany was viewed as a cohesive, coordinated movement. It never was. The infighting and back-stabbing in the Nazi ranks was staggering—and Hitler happily kept them fighting each other.
In other words, the hate of the far right is pretty much universal. Our Nazis are pretty much the same evil, psychotic nutcases as the Reich. Ours just have a LOT more guns. But they are also apparently even more stupid in the intelligence department—both types. They keep telling their plans to anyone they think might agree with them.
Nazis are exactly like criminals, who seek out those who think like they do. And they assume that everyone else does as well. This greatly contributes to the success the FBI has had in getting these guys to spill plans to informants.
The Real World
The real world not the crazed dystopian, fight-or-die, environment that people like Alex Jones or Ronnie Jackson truly believe it is. These guys live in some sort of personal hell where everyone around them is a monster that only they can see and do battle with in their minds. If you think that sounds like they are biting-themselves-in-the-small-of-the-back nuts, go to the head of the class.
The real world is populated by a vast majority of well-meaning, caring and beneficially social people—people would give you the shirt off their backs to help, no matter where you come from or what you look like.
I don’t know about you, but I kind of like the real world. I may spend a bit of time commenting on the minority populated by the crazies. But that’s meant to help others understand that there’s no liability in ignoring their invitations to hell and getting on with whatever the task at hand may be.
Just to be clear, we are not in a war. We are not under attack. No one is invading us or threatening to shoot everyone—except, oddly enough, the tiny minority of wackos who keep screaming that we are being invaded by hordes.
Have not just a good day, but a long and fruitful series of them. Ignoring yammering of psychotics can help make it so.
