Every day that passes brings us closer to the midterm elections, when our power as individuals can be brought to bear at the ballot box. And Donald Trump, bless his apparently diseased heart, is helping our cause.

If Trump gets what he wants, by Labor Day, all of this may be old news. But, stay tuned. Congress's August recess may not be a vacation from the Epstein story for anyone.

Every time Trump hears Epstein’s name he freaks out. What’s going to happen if all the cable shows, especially those on Fox News, dump the name of Ghislaine Maxwell into the news cycle?

The Epstein story is not going away and Trump can’t kill it. All those days and nights of fun Trump had with his pal Jeffrey in New York and Palm Beach are going to be gnawing at his ankles and keeping him up at night for months.

Mel Brooks had it only partly right. It’s good to be king, but it’s hell to be president.

The simple fact is that all those who have abused children should be prosecuted and put behind bars, no matter who they are or what their station in life.

It will be blue states and the people who live in them who suffer most greatly from Trump’s “I’m the king, and I’ll do what I want” approach to governing.

Money. It’s what Trump’s disastrous DOGE adventure was all about. It’s what his Big Bullshit Bill is about, moving money from people who don’t have enough of it to people who have too much of it.

The Republican Party just raised their right hands in a Nazi salute and said, “Jawhol, mein Herr” to the dictator who is taking our tax dollars and using them to run roughshod over our Constitution and laws in the name of white supremacy.

I refuse to accept the celebration of convicted felons as heroes. I refuse to accept a president selling pardons to thieves and scoundrels out of the Oval Office for “donations” to his political campaign funds...
