Trump Is Trying to Rob Literally Every American—Well, Except for Billionaires Dodging Taxes

Trump has figured out a way of stealing directly from the American public, exacting the tribute he thinks is his due.

We’ve all heard the news that Trump has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS. The suit’s cause of action is the fact that someone there leaked his tax returns. Yes, the one’s he promised to release like every other president in the history of the existence of the IRS and tax returns. Of course he never did.

Once the leak happened it pretty quickly came to light that Trump paid China, $200,000 in taxes, in a year where he paid $0 to the US treasury. And now that everyone knows this, he wants to bill every American close to $3000.

Huh? Think about it for a short moment. Who provides the money to the IRS from which they would pay $10 billion to Trump? That’s right each and every tax-paying American, and now a decreasing number of immigrants. Yes, the large number of the people Trump and company are kicking out of the country contribute billions to our economy and tax revenues—but more on that in another piece.

We’ve seen what happens to companies like news organizations that upset Donnie. He sues them. And then since he has control of things like the FCC, they settle and ship him off some fat checks. But as Neville Chamberlain failed to learn before the onset of Hitler’s real rampage, appeasing a dictator does not work. In fact it merely encourages them.

And so it is with Trump. Like any true criminal, when a scam works and pays off, he looks to doing a bigger one. In the cases of companies settling with Trump, like YouTube, ABC, CBS, etc., Elizabeth Warren correctly remarked that these settlements amounted to bribes. To Trump, extortion works. Even better from his viewpoint is calling each one of these cases an “official act” which makes him immune for it thanks to Chief Justice John Roberts.

Now Trump’s scheming has jumped up a couple of orders of magnitude. But demanding $10 billion from the IRS, he’s trying to dip directly into our pockets in a new and brazen way. He’s already been doing with his illegal tariffs—which are paid for in the end by every consumer. But that money is not going directly into his pockets—a fact that is sure to piss him off. But his “personal lawsuit,” if settled would most definitely line his bottomless pockets.

Here’s the next fun part. He’s ultimately going to be negotiating with himself, since he is in charge of the IRS. What next as we see yet another siphon hose being shoved into our wallets?

Maybe he expects us to ignore it since he promised us $2000 tariff rebate checks. Don’t hold your breath.

But you can relentlessly call Members of Congress to demand Trump’s impeachment. Here’s how to contact your representatives:
