Joe Biden didn’t hug a flag or hold a Bible in some pathetic, pandering photo-op. He didn’t stand in front of a church or crassly parade the uniform of a dead firefighter on stage. He simply modeled both his faith and his patriotism.
There are many lessons to be learned from this year’s election. The main one right now, though, is that because the RNC failed three times to protect America from a dictatorial madman that job now falls to us.
If one listens to the rambling complaints about America coming from Donald Trump and his camp—or worse, believes them—it is a wonder anyone leaves their front door.
Who would have ever imagined that that man who has made the world's largest science-based fortune would get on the Qanon bandwagon and join the anti-science crowd.

At the end of the day, it is equality itself that is under attack by the far right. And, "Once you give up the principle of equality, you have given up the whole game."
MAGAs may be self-identified Christians but from the outside the title is suspect. They aren't "Little Christs" They aren't "followers of the Way." They aren't even Evangelicals. They are merely "Little Trumps."
From the founding of our republic, protecting the power of the press to call out anti-democratic behavior has been a firewall, protecting our form of government. It is their job.
In giving immunity to Trump, the majority of the Supreme Court is merely fulfilling the mission laid out for them by their friends at the Heritage Foundation in their Project 2025.
